Getting Started

Set up your ReportsMate account and send your first automated report in a few steps.

ReportsMate automates your marketing reports so clients receive professional, branded performance emails on a schedule you set. This guide walks you through the complete setup from account creation to your first sent report.


Step 1 — Create your account

Go to the ReportsMate sign-up page and create an account. All plans start with a 14-day free trial — no credit card required.

After signing up you will be taken through a short onboarding flow that helps you configure your agency profile.


Step 2 — Complete your agency profile

During onboarding, fill in your agency details:

  • Agency name — appears in the email header and footer of every report
  • Logo — displayed at the top of every report email
  • Website, phone, address — shown in the email footer
  • Support email — shown as a contact link in the footer

You can update these at any time under Settings → Agency Profile.


Step 3 — Add your first client

Go to Clients → New Client and enter:

Save the client to continue.


Step 4 — Connect a platform

Open the client you just created and go to the Platforms tab. Click Connect next to the platform you want to add (for example, Google Analytics or Google Ads).

You will be redirected to Google or Meta to authorise the connection. After authorising, you will be returned to ReportsMate where you can select the specific account or property to use for this client.

Repeat for each platform you want to include in this client's reports.


Step 5 — Set a report schedule

Go to the client's Schedule tab. Configure:

  • Frequency — Daily, Weekly, or Monthly (availability depends on your plan)
  • Delivery time — The time of day reports are sent (in the client's timezone)
  • Day — For weekly reports, the day of the week; for monthly, the day of the month

Save the schedule. ReportsMate will calculate the next send time automatically.


Step 6 — Preview a report

Before enabling the schedule, click Preview Report on the client's detail page. This generates a report using the most recent cached data and shows you exactly what the client will receive, including your current branding.


Step 7 — Enable the schedule

Once you are happy with the preview, go back to the Schedule tab and set the schedule status to Active. Reports will now be sent automatically at the configured time.

You can monitor sent reports under Email Logs at any time.
