Google Ads
Connect a Google Ads account to include paid search performance data in reports.
Google Ads provides paid search performance data: spend, impressions, clicks, ROAS, conversions, top campaigns, and top keywords.
Plan required: Starter and above.
Before you connect
- The Google account you use must have at least Standard or Read Only access on the Google Ads account.
- If the client uses a Manager Account (MCC), you can connect the MCC and then select the specific sub-account for this client. You do not need to connect each sub-account individually.
How to connect
- Open the client in ReportsMate and go to the Platforms tab.
- Click Connect next to Google Ads.
- You will be redirected to Google to sign in and grant ReportsMate read access.
- After authorising, you will be returned to ReportsMate.
- A list of Google Ads accounts accessible to the connected Google account will appear.
- Select the correct account for this client.
- Click Save.

Troubleshooting
No Ads accounts appear after connecting The Google account you used does not have access to any Google Ads accounts. Ensure the account has been granted Standard or Read Only access in the Google Ads account settings.
ROAS shows as zero ROAS is calculated from conversion value tracked in Google Ads. If conversion tracking is not set up, or if conversion values are not recorded, ROAS will be zero. This is accurate — it reflects what Google Ads is reporting.
Manager account shows but no sub-accounts appear Ensure the Google account has been granted access at the individual account level within the MCC, not just the MCC level itself.
