Google Analytics
Connect a Google Analytics 4 property to include website traffic and conversion data in reports.
Google Analytics provides website traffic and conversion data for the report: sessions, users, bounce rate, traffic sources, landing pages, and device breakdown.
Plan required: Professional and above.
Before you connect
- ReportsMate supports Google Analytics 4 (GA4) only. Universal Analytics (UA) properties are not supported.
- The Google account you use to connect must have at least Viewer access on the GA4 property.
- If you are connecting on behalf of a client, use an account that has been granted access to their GA4 property — not a personal account with no access.
How to connect
- Open the client in ReportsMate and go to the Platforms tab.
- Click Connect next to Google Analytics.
- You will be redirected to Google to sign in and grant ReportsMate read access.
- After authorising, you will be returned to ReportsMate.
- A list of GA4 properties accessible to the Google account will appear. Select the correct property for this client.
- Click Save.

Troubleshooting
No GA4 properties appear after connecting The Google account you used does not have access to any GA4 properties. Ensure the account has been granted at least Viewer access on the correct property in the Google Analytics admin panel.
Sessions show as zero Check that the GA4 tracking tag is installed and firing on the client's website. You can verify this in the GA4 Realtime report. If tracking is missing, reports will show zero data.
Only a Universal Analytics property is available ReportsMate does not support Universal Analytics. Migrate to GA4 to use this integration.
