Best Reddit Ads Reporting Tools for Agencies

By Varun, Founder of ReportsMate. Last updated: September 2026.

Reddit went from "the channel nobody would admit to buying" to a line item on real media plans, and agency reporting has not caught up. A Reddit ads reporting tool has one job: take what Reddit Ads Manager knows about your client's campaigns and put it in front of the client, on a schedule, next to every other channel they pay you to run, which is the whole point of multi-channel marketing reporting.

That is harder than it sounds. Reddit is a comparatively young ads platform, so connector coverage is patchier than it is for Google or Meta, and the native reporting is built for the person buying the media, not the business owner paying for it. Most agencies end up exporting a CSV once a month and pasting numbers into a deck.

This guide covers which tools have a genuine Reddit Ads connector in 2026, what Reddit Ads Manager does and does not give you for free, which Reddit ads metrics for clients are worth reporting, and how to get Reddit performance into a document your client will actually open. We build reporting software ourselves, so we have disclosed our own position honestly below, including the parts where another tool is the better answer.

Key takeaways

  • A Reddit ads reporting tool pulls campaign, ad group and ad-level data out of Reddit Ads Manager on a schedule, so the client sees Reddit performance without you assembling it by hand.
  • Five tools have a genuine native Reddit Ads connector in 2026: AgencyAnalytics, Whatagraph, DashThis, Swydo and Supermetrics. Looker Studio has no first-party Reddit connector and needs a paid partner connector to get there.
  • Reddit Ads Manager itself is free, supports CSV export and can email a scheduled report, but it only ever shows Reddit, so it cannot answer the budget-allocation question your client is really asking.
  • Google Analytics now connects directly to Reddit Ads and imports campaign cost, clicks and impressions, which means any GA4-based report can carry Reddit spend without a dedicated Reddit connector.
  • Reddit's default attribution setting is a 28-day click window with a 1-day view window, so Reddit's conversion count and your GA4 conversion count will not match. Explain the gap in the report rather than hoping nobody notices.

Our disclosure: ReportsMate is our product, so treat this table as a vendor's map of the category rather than a neutral review. We have kept the Reddit column honest: we do not have a native Reddit Ads connector, and if Reddit is your client's primary paid channel, one of the five tools above with a direct connector will serve that client better than we will. Where we are useful to a Reddit-running agency is covered further down.

What is a Reddit ads reporting tool?

A Reddit ads reporting tool is software that connects to a Reddit Ads account through Reddit's advertising API, pulls performance data on a schedule, and presents it to a non-technical reader without anyone logging into Ads Manager. That last clause is the whole point. Your client is not going to learn Reddit's interface, and the value you add is not the data, it is the interpretation of it.

In practice a tool earns the label if it does four things:

  1. Authenticates once and refreshes on its own. You connect the Reddit Ads account, grant read access, and the data keeps arriving. Anything that needs a manual export is a spreadsheet workflow with better branding.
  2. Covers the hierarchy. Account, campaign, ad group and ad level, because "Reddit spent this much" is not a report, and "one community-targeted ad group produced most of the leads at well under the blended cost per lead" is.
  3. Sits next to other channels. Reddit is almost never the only channel. A report that isolates it cannot answer where the next dollar goes.
  4. White-labels. White-labelling means the report carries your agency's branding, logo and sender identity rather than the tool's, so the client sees your work, not your vendor's.

Two terms worth defining while we are here, because they come up constantly in Reddit reporting conversations. Reporting cadence is simply how often the report goes out, and it matters more than most agencies think. Attribution window is the period after a click or an impression during which Reddit will still take credit for a conversion, which is where most Reddit-versus-GA4 arguments start.

Which are the best Reddit ads reporting tools for agencies in 2026?

Five third-party platforms have a genuine native Reddit Ads connector in 2026, and they differ less on data coverage than on how the client finally receives the thing. Here is the honest breakdown.

1. AgencyAnalytics

AgencyAnalytics has a first-party Reddit Ads integration built for the client-dashboard model: impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, spend, conversions and conversion value, displayed per client and comparable against other PPC sources. Their help documentation notes the integration runs on Reddit's v3 API with 24 months of history available, and that Reddit Ads data always displays in UTC regardless of the client's configured timezone. That UTC detail is not trivia. If you report daily pacing for a client in Sydney or Los Angeles, day boundaries in the Reddit rows will not line up with day boundaries elsewhere in the report, and someone will eventually ask why.

Strong fit if you already run per-client dashboards and want Reddit added to them. The delivery model is a login-based dashboard with scheduled summaries, so client engagement depends on the client bothering to click through.

2. Whatagraph

Whatagraph's Reddit Ads connector has the deepest published metric coverage of the group, exposing Reddit data at ad account, campaign, ad group and individual ad level, with dozens of metrics available at the ad tier. If you need creative-level Reddit reporting, where the question is which promoted post actually carried the campaign, this is the strongest native option in the comparison.

The trade-off is the pricing model. Whatagraph, like most of this category, prices around data sources and volume, so adding Reddit to an existing stack is a cost decision, not just a configuration one.

3. DashThis

DashThis has a Reddit Ads integration with a preset Reddit report template, which means you are editing a starting point rather than building from an empty canvas. For agencies with a handful of Reddit clients and no appetite for dashboard construction, template-first is genuinely the fastest path from connected account to something you can send.

Reports are dashboards with emailed exports. Same structural caveat as above: the reading experience is a link, and links compete with everything else in a client's inbox.

4. Swydo

Swydo covers Reddit Ads with both an integration and a Reddit Ads report template, and it is the natural pick if Swydo already handles your Google Ads and Meta reporting. Reddit slots in beside the existing channels rather than becoming a separate artefact, which is the whole argument for consolidated reporting in the first place.

5. Supermetrics

Supermetrics is the odd one out because it does not produce a report. It is a data pipeline: its Reddit Ads connector moves Reddit data into Looker Studio, Google Sheets, BigQuery or a warehouse, and you build the reporting layer yourself. Its Reddit connector supports reporting by community and interest targeting, which is the most Reddit-specific cut of data available in any of these tools.

Pick Supermetrics when you have someone who genuinely enjoys building dashboards or you need Reddit data joined to CRM or revenue data. Do not pick it expecting a finished client report to fall out the other end, because that is not what it is for.

Looker Studio, and why it is not on the connector list

Looker Studio is free and excellent at rendering, but Google does not ship a first-party Reddit Ads connector for it. Getting Reddit into Looker Studio means paying for a partner connector such as Supermetrics, at which point the cost comparison against a purpose-built reporting tool gets much closer than the "Looker Studio is free" framing suggests. We wrote more about that trade-off in our comparison of Looker Studio alternatives for agencies.

What does Reddit Ads Manager give you for free, and where does it stop?

Reddit Ads Manager gives you more reporting than most agencies realise: you can slice performance in the dashboard, export a CSV, and schedule a recurring report to email addresses on a daily, weekly or monthly frequency with a set lookback period. If you have one Reddit client and no reporting budget, start there and stop reading this section.

It stops in three predictable places.

It only ever shows Reddit. Scheduled Reddit exports answer "how did Reddit do". Your client is asking "how did marketing do, and which channel should get more next quarter". That comparison does not exist inside a single platform's reporting, and it is the entire reason the third-party category exists.

It is a raw export, not a client document. A CSV is unformatted, unbranded and uninterpreted. Sending one to a client makes them do the analysis you are being paid for, and it does not carry your agency's branding, so the last thing they see is Reddit's name rather than yours.

Metrics lag differently. Reddit updates delivery metrics like impressions, clicks and spend within about half an hour, while conversion metrics carry a longer reporting delay. If your report generates immediately at period close, conversion numbers can still be settling. Generating a day or two after month end costs nothing and avoids revising a number in front of a client.

Which Reddit ads metrics for clients belong in the report?

Report the metrics that map to the client's business, then a thin layer of Reddit-specific context. Here is a defensible default structure for a Reddit ads performance report.

LayerMetricsWhy it is in the report
OutcomeConversions, cost per conversion, conversion value, ROAS or cost per leadThe only layer the client genuinely cares about
EfficiencySpend, CPC, CPM, CTRExplains whether the outcome moved because of cost or because of volume
ReachImpressions, clicks, reach, frequencyContext for a channel most clients cannot picture
Reddit-specificPerformance by community and interest targeting, promoted post engagement, video view-through rateThe part no other channel has, and the part that makes you look like you understand Reddit

That last row is where Reddit reporting earns its keep. Reddit ads are posts, so they accumulate upvotes, comments and replies like organic content does, and community-level performance is the closest thing in paid media to a named audience. An agency that reports "your best-performing communities this month were X and Y, and here is what commenters kept asking about" is delivering research, not a metrics dump. An agency that reports impressions and CTR is delivering a screenshot.

One number to handle carefully: conversions. Reddit's default attribution setting credits conversions within a 28-day click window and a 1-day view window, and Reddit's own web attribution documentation explains that the view window can never exceed the click window. GA4 will almost always report a lower number than Reddit does, because the windows and the attribution models differ. Put both figures in the report with a one-line explanation. Clients forgive a discrepancy you explained in advance and never forgive one they discovered.

Accuracy upstream matters too. Reddit recommends running the Reddit Pixel and the Conversions API together with event deduplication so the same action is not counted twice. No reporting tool can fix conversion data that was wrong when it left the website.

How do you get Reddit ads data into a report clients actually read?

There are three routes, and the right one depends on how big Reddit is in the client's budget.

Route one: a native connector. If Reddit is a top-two channel for the client, use one of the five tools above. Nothing beats a direct connection for campaign and creative-level depth.

Route two: GA4 cost data import. This is the route most agencies have not noticed yet. Google Analytics now connects directly to Reddit Ads as a supported third-party source and imports campaign-level cost, clicks and impressions, alongside equivalent connectors for Meta, TikTok, Snap and Pinterest. Google's guidance on importing cost data notes that third-party sources attempt to pull 24 months of history, and warns that running a direct connector alongside an older manual cost upload for the same campaigns will double-count, because Analytics does not deduplicate between the two methods. Delete the legacy dataset first.

The practical effect is significant: once Reddit cost is flowing into GA4, any GA4-based report carries Reddit spend, sessions, conversions and blended efficiency without a dedicated Reddit connector anywhere in the stack. It needs clean UTM tagging on your Reddit destination URLs, which you should have regardless. Our Google Analytics integration reads GA4 the same way whether the cost data arrived from Google Ads or from a third-party connector.

Route three: manual export. Reddit's CSV export into a monthly template. It works, it costs nothing, and it is the first thing to break when you add your fourth client.

Whichever route you choose, the delivery question is separate and it is the one most agencies get wrong. Across the accounts running on our own platform, GA4 is the single most-connected platform, active on 30 of the 43 clients with any connection at all, which is roughly seven in ten. Multi-channel reporting is the norm rather than the exception: 16 of those 43 clients report on two or more platforms and 10 report on four or more. Clients with that much spread do not want four dashboards. They want one document.

Where does ReportsMate fit for a Reddit-running agency?

Straight answer: ReportsMate connects Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn Ads and TikTok Ads. Reddit Ads is not on that integrations list today. If you need campaign and ad-level Reddit data pulled straight from Reddit's API, one of the five connector tools above is the right choice and we will not pretend otherwise.

Where we are useful to an agency running Reddit is the outcome layer and the delivery layer. With Reddit cost data imported into GA4, Reddit spend and the sessions and conversions it produced appear in the GA4 side of the report next to every other channel, which covers the question clients ask most often. And the report arrives as a branded email rather than a dashboard invitation.

We built ReportsMate email-first because after years around agency reporting, the pattern was consistent: dashboards get built, links get sent, and almost nobody logs in. The report that lands in the inbox is the report that gets read. That is not a claim about features, it is what the delivery data looks like. Of the report emails from our platform that were opened, the median open happened under five hours after sending and roughly three in four were opened within a day of delivery. A dashboard link does not get that kind of response, because reading it requires the client to decide to go somewhere.

Pricing is flat-fee per plan rather than per data source, which matters for multi-channel clients where source-based pricing scales against you. Current plans and client limits are on our pricing page, and if you want to see the setup flow before deciding, how it works walks through connecting a platform and scheduling a report.

How often should you send a Reddit ads performance report?

Monthly for most clients, weekly for clients spending enough that a week of drift costs real money. Reddit's own scheduled export supports daily, weekly and monthly, and most third-party tools offer the same three.

Our own scheduling data lands in the same place. Across enabled report schedules on our platform, monthly and weekly are tied at 33 schedules each and daily accounts for 12, so about 85% of active schedules are weekly or monthly. Daily has a narrow, legitimate use: a launch week, a seasonal push, a budget-pacing watch on a large account. As a standing cadence it trains clients to read noise as signal, because a single day of Reddit data on a modest budget is mostly variance.

One Reddit-specific note on timing. Because conversion metrics settle more slowly than delivery metrics, a monthly report generated on the first of the month can undercount conversions from the final days of the period. Schedule for the second or third of the month instead, and the number you send is the number that stands.

Frequently asked questions

Q: What is the best Reddit ads reporting tool for a small agency?

A: For a small agency with one or two Reddit clients, start with Reddit Ads Manager's own scheduled export and spend your tooling budget on consolidated reporting for the channels those clients run everywhere. Once Reddit is a standing line item across several clients, DashThis or Swydo are the easiest native connectors to get running because both ship a Reddit report template rather than a blank canvas. If your Reddit clients also run Google, Meta, LinkedIn or TikTok, the bigger win is usually consolidating those channels into one recurring client report and importing Reddit cost through GA4, which costs nothing extra.

Q: Can you report on Reddit Ads in Looker Studio?

A: Yes, but not with a Google-built connector. Looker Studio has no first-party Reddit Ads connector, so you need a paid partner connector such as Supermetrics to bring Reddit data in, then build the report yourself. That combination is a real option if you already have Looker Studio templates and someone who maintains them. Price it honestly first: once you add a partner connector subscription to the free dashboard tool, the total often lands close to a purpose-built reporting platform that requires no building. Our comparison of Supermetrics and Looker Studio for agencies breaks the maths down.

Q: Why do Reddit Ads conversions not match GA4?

A: Because the two systems measure different things over different windows. Reddit's default attribution setting credits conversions on a 28-day click window and a 1-day view window, and it counts a conversion when Reddit's pixel or Conversions API sees it. GA4 applies its own attribution model to sessions it can tie to a tagged Reddit visit, and it will not credit a view-through at all. Reddit's number will usually be higher. Neither is lying. Report both, label which is which, and add one sentence explaining the window difference so the client reads it as methodology rather than an error.

Q: Does Reddit Ads Manager let you schedule reports by email?

A: Yes. From the Reddit Ads dashboard you can export a report as a CSV or schedule a recurring one, choosing recipients, a daily, weekly or monthly frequency, and a lookback period. It is a genuinely useful free feature for internal use. The limitation for agency work is that it only contains Reddit, it arrives as raw spreadsheet data rather than an interpreted client document, and it carries Reddit's branding rather than yours. It is a media buyer's tool, not a client communication.

Q: How do you get Reddit Ads spend into Google Analytics?

A: Use GA4's direct Reddit connection. In the Analytics admin, create a data source, choose cost data as the type and select Reddit as the import source, then authorise the Reddit Ads account. Google supports Reddit alongside Meta, Snap and Pinterest as direct third-party sources, and the connector imports campaign-level cost, clicks and impressions with around 24 months of history. Two requirements: your Reddit destination URLs need proper utm_source and utm_medium tagging for the data to join correctly, and if you already upload Reddit cost manually, delete that dataset first, because Analytics will not deduplicate between the two and you will double-count spend.

Q: Which Reddit ads metrics should be in a client report?

A: Lead with outcomes: conversions, cost per conversion and either ROAS or cost per lead depending on the business model. Follow with efficiency metrics that explain the outcome, which is spend, CPC, CPM and CTR, then reach metrics for context. Finish with the Reddit-specific layer that no other channel gives you, which is performance by community and interest targeting plus engagement on the promoted posts themselves. If you want to sanity-check the efficiency targets you are reporting against, our free ROAS calculator does the arithmetic.

Q: Is a dedicated Reddit reporting tool worth it if Reddit is 10% of spend?

A: Usually not. At 10% of budget, a dedicated connector subscription is hard to justify against the alternative of importing Reddit cost into GA4 and reporting it as part of the blended picture. The exception is when Reddit is small in spend but strategically important, for example a B2B client where Reddit drives a narrow, high-value audience and the community-level detail is the insight. In that case the creative and community data justifies the connector even at a small budget. Judge it on how much of the report's value comes from Reddit-specific detail, not on Reddit's share of spend.

Final tips for Reddit ads reporting

Four things worth doing regardless of which reddit ads reporting tool you land on.

Tag before you report. Clean utm_source and utm_medium on every Reddit destination URL is the prerequisite for both GA4 cost import and any blended channel view. Retrofitting UTMs after three months of untagged traffic does not recover the history.

Run the pixel and the Conversions API together. With event deduplication configured, conversion coverage improves and your reported numbers get more defensible. Reporting tools inherit whatever quality the tracking produced.

Report communities, not just campaigns. Community and interest-level performance is the one cut of data Reddit offers that Google and Meta cannot. It is also the part clients find genuinely interesting, which makes it the part that gets read.

Send the report, do not host it. Whatever assembles the data, the last step decides whether any of this work registers with the client. A dashboard link asks the client to make an effort. A branded report in the inbox does not.
